Bite-sized Training Workshops

With the ever-increasing demands on people's time, it is often difficult to fit training into a demanding schedule. So wouldn't it be great if you could fit the training around you?

Using our bite-sized training workshops we can design a flexible programme that delivers the skills training you need in a more convenient format.

What are bite-sized training workshops?

  • A series of 90-minute workshops
  • Run weekly or fortnightly
  • Range of soft skills topics
  • Fast-paced, interactive and fun

What are the benefits and how do they work?

  • The bite-sized workshops deliver cost-effective training for up to sixteen people in each session.
  • Minimal disruption; the trainer comes to you and the sessions last for 90 minutes — the time it takes for the average meeting.
  • More and more people are required to log a number of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) hours each year. The bite-sized workshops are CPD-friendly, so attending eight workshops with half an hour spent on follow-up activities after each one would provide 16 hours of CPD.
  • Suitable for a mixed audience from different disciplines and with different experience levels.
  • The bite-sized approach improves retention and recall because participants can put what they have learned into practice minutes later. There is no risk of overload, as the sessions focus on one key theme with a balance of information and participation that enables people to understand and assimilate what they have learned.
  • A programme of frequent and focused workshops enables participants to apply what they have learned between each session and build their skills and knowledge layer by layer. Studies by psychologists and neuroscientists have found that this approach to learning is often more effective than traditional methods.
  • A CIPD survey indicates ‘choice for learner’ is a key trend… and management skills as the No. 1 requirement. What bite-sized workshops give you is more dishes for the smorgasbord than traditional training; offering a variety of topics across a range of management skills.
